The 4th Asian Electronics Forum was successfully held in Cebu, Philippines in year 2007, and it was decided then that the 5th AEF will be host in Vietnam by Vietnam Electronic Industries Association (VEIA) in year 2008. Up today VEIA get all of permissions from Vietnam Government to hold the 5th AEF in Vietnam. After consultation with the AEF Secretariat, it was agreed that the 5th AEF will be held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam on July 15-16, 2008. Ho Chi Minh City is economic center of Vietnam and bigest city of the country, where most of electronics companies located.
